The Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast is a Cypress tradition. It is the kick-off event for the Cypress Community Festival.

The Kiwanis Club of Cypress serves a pancake breakfast from 7 am to 11 am on the morning of the Cypress Community Festival. Club members serve homemade pancakes, tasty sausage, coffee and orange juice. Donations are accepted and are used to support the Kiwanis Club children's scholarship fund. The Cypress club was started in 1950. Their motto is: "Serving The Children Of The World." More information is available at (714) 828-6561.
