An artificial medium with absorbent properties, Hypertufa is a mixture of cement, coir, and pearlite molded to resemble tufa or crumbling granite.

In this class Steve Gerischer will prepare you for making large Hypertufa pieces with confidence by teaching you to make a small Hypertufa bowl or trough on site. Be prepared to get dirty!
