Named for legendary Long Beach Press-Telegram Sports Editor Frank Blair.

The field has been home to the Long Beach State Dirtbags since 1993; has been the home field for five area high schools; featured in over 200 film, TV and commercial productions; and was named one of the top 15 collegiate ballparks in the nation by Baseball America.

The field has a seating capacity of 3,328 and was opened in 1958.
