A children's film festival will be held at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. two times every Saturday (unless otherwise posted) at the Norman F. Feldheym Central Library.
The following films will be shown:
- Sept. 26: A barnyard spider helps a small pig believe in himself and his special talents.
- Oct. 3: Our favorite green ogre visits his wife's family in a land far, far away and must save their kingdom from an evil fairy godmother and her snobby son, Prince Charming. Helping him his Fiona, Donkey and Puss in Boots.
- Oct. 10: This classic takes a young girl and her dog from dusty Kansas to a magical green land where she joins a scarecrow, a tin-man and a lion on an adventure to get the Witch of the West's broomstick. Voted by NPR as the best movie that has been made from a children's book.
- Oct. 17: This movie goes back in time to show how Shaggy and his crew first met our favorite mystery solving dog.
- Oct. 24: Hit by meteor dust, a young lady mysteriously grows to be 49 feet 11 inches tall. She is put by the government into a camp with other odd creatures, but when the earth is attacked by aliens, she and other monsters come to the planet's rescue.
- Oct. 31: A boy named DJ sees strange things going on at a creepy house across the street. However, he and his friend Chowder struggle to make others believe what they see is real and not a dream.
