Suzi Chauvel will present slides of Gold Rush era “Daguerreotypes” and will discuss her own modern version of this early type of photography, the “first publicly announced photographic process”.
Suzi will also present her modern version of this process where photographic images of her travels in Europe are exposed onto brushed steel. Suzi’s work is currently on display inside the Mission’s Soldiers Barracks Gallery and will be available for purchase onsite. (www.suzichauvel.com)
